SMS / Text Messaging Policy
How we use text messaging to communicate with caregivers, clients, and authorized representatives.

WillowGrove Homecare LLC ("WillowGrove," "we," "us," or "our") uses SMS text messaging to communicate important information related to scheduling, staffing alerts, shift confirmations, and agency operations. By providing your mobile number and consenting to receive texts, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Program Description
WillowGrove Homecare LLC operates an SMS messaging program for the following purposes:
Urgent shift notifications and open shift alerts
Shift confirmations, reminders, and schedule changes
Staffing communications to caregivers and field staff
Client care coordination updates to authorized representatives
Agency operational notices (office closures, policy updates, etc.)
Emergency or time-sensitive communications
Message frequency varies based on operational need. You may receive multiple messages per day during high-volume staffing periods.
2. How We Obtain Your Consent
We only send SMS messages to individuals who have provided prior express written consent. Consent is obtained through one or more of the following:
Signing an SMS consent form at the time of hire or intake
Submitting a signed acknowledgment in your employment or service agreement
Opting in via a digital form or JotForm submission that includes SMS consent language
Replying START or YES to an initial opt-in message
Important
Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of employment or of receiving home care services. You may decline SMS communications without affecting your employment status or care services.
3. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. WillowGrove Homecare LLC does not charge recipients for SMS messages. You are responsible for any charges assessed by your carrier.
For questions about your plan's messaging rates, contact your mobile carrier directly.
4. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from WillowGrove Homecare LLC at any time using any of the following methods:
Text a Stop Keyword
Reply to any message from us with one of the following keywords and you will be immediately removed from our messaging list:
STOP
CANCEL
END
QUIT
UNSUBSCRIBE
You may also opt out by contacting the WillowGrove office directly by phone or email and requesting removal from SMS communications. Upon opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.
To re-enroll at any time, reply START or contact the office to re-submit consent.
5. Help & Support
If you need assistance or have questions about our SMS program, reply HELP to any message or contact our office directly using the information below. You can also text HELP at any time to receive a summary of available commands.
6. Privacy & Information Use
Your mobile phone number and any information shared via SMS is used solely for the operational purposes described in this policy. WillowGrove Homecare LLC does not sell, rent, share, or disclose your mobile number or personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
SMS communications may be retained as part of your employment or care record in accordance with applicable state and federal recordkeeping requirements, including HIPAA where applicable. Protected Health Information (PHI) will not be transmitted via standard SMS.
7. Supported Carriers
Our SMS program is compatible with all major U.S. carriers, including but not limited to:
AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint
U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, Cricket, MetroPCS
Google Fi and other MVNO carriers
Carrier support may vary. WillowGrove is not liable for delays or failures in SMS delivery caused by carrier networks.
8. Changes to This Policy
WillowGrove Homecare LLC reserves the right to update or modify this SMS Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS notice or posted to our website. Continued participation in the SMS program after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
